Service terms

Terms of Service

1. Operator and scope

ScreenGen (“the Service”) is operated by AppStare (www.appstare.net, registered address: Building A2, Changlong Cultural Park, Chaoyang District, Beijing, China; “we” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Service.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please stop using the Service.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You may sign in with a Google or Apple account. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for protecting your sign-in credentials, and for all activity that occurs under your account.

The Service is intended for users who have reached the applicable legal age. If we identify a user under 14, we will handle the related data as described in the Privacy Policy and may terminate the account.

3. Service description

The Service provides template browsing, project creation and editing, AI-assisted copy and image generation, multi-language and multi-size export, and, when authorized by you, App Store Connect publishing with publish history.

A free account can create and preview one complete project but cannot download, export, or publish. Paid plans provide higher project, language, and device allowances, AI credits, export, and publishing access, as described in the plan details shown in the Service.

Direct publishing currently supports App Store Connect only. Google Play assets can be generated and downloaded for manual upload; direct publishing to Google Play Console is not available.

4. Plans and payment

The Service offers Free, Launch Pass, Pro, and Studio entitlements. AI generation, copy optimization, and translation consume AI credits; the credit cost is shown before each action.

Until billing is enabled, we will not charge your account. We only charge after a price has been displayed and confirmed. Once billing opens, final prices, renewal, cancellation, and refund rules will be published on this page and in the checkout flow and form part of these Terms.

Plan entitlements, retention periods, and commercial licences are governed by the version shown at purchase. We will give reasonable notice of material changes.

5. User content and licence

You retain ownership of the screenshots, copy, app information, and project content you upload. You grant us the limited permission necessary to edit, store, generate, export, and perform authorized publishing.

You represent and warrant that you have lawful rights to the content you upload and that it does not infringe any third party’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.

6. Intellectual property

The Service’s software, templates, fonts, icons, interface, and documentation are owned by AppStare or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may use exported files created from lawful inputs to market your own apps: Free and Launch Pass cover your own app; Pro covers your own app or organization; Studio adds an extended commercial licence for client deliverables. Use beyond these boundaries requires separate written permission.

7. Publishing authorization

By connecting App Store Connect and submitting a release, you authorize us to perform the confirmed operations for the selected app, version, locale, and screenshot group. You are responsible for checking the target version and replacement scope before submission; the result shown in the store governs.

8. Third-party platforms

Apple and Google are independent third parties. We do not guarantee app-review approval or uninterrupted third-party interfaces, and we are not responsible for losses caused by third-party platform rules, failures, or review outcomes.

9. Prohibited conduct

You may not upload unlawful, infringing, malicious, or unauthorized private information; attempt to break, reverse-engineer, or bypass the Service’s security and access controls; scrape or abuse Service resources at scale; or interfere with other users’ use of the Service.

We may warn, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Data and deletion

Your personal data, projects, and files are handled according to the Privacy Policy and the retention periods shown in the Service. Deleting a project or account may affect related downloads and publish records; the Service will explain the impact before you confirm.

11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that the Service will be accurate, complete, or uninterrupted, and we disclaim implied warranties.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or punitive damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Service. Our aggregate liability does not exceed the amounts you actually paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Changes and termination

We may adjust Service features for security, quality, legal, or product reasons while avoiding undisclosed material reductions to paid entitlements.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for material breaches of these Terms or where required by law, with reasonable notice and an explanation.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China.

Any dispute arising from these Terms will first be resolved through friendly negotiation; if negotiation fails, either party may submit the dispute to the competent people’s court in Chaoyang District, Beijing, China.

14. Contact and effective date
